Your sturgeon adventure starts right on the Lower Fraser River where our jet boat is moored at our marina in the city of Richmond. We have specifically chosen this location as it is only minutes from downtown Vancouver and right next to some of our top producing fishing grounds. Less driving in the car and shorter boat rides to the hot spots means more time fishing! Your guide will meet you with a smile at the top of the boat ramp and lead you to our 22ft Thunder Jet Alexis Classic jet boat, purpose built and expertly outfitted for fighting sturgeon on the Fraser River. Within minutes of leaving the dock you will find yourself fishing for these living dinosaurs while experiencing the Fraser River like never before. It is truly amazing to fish for the largest freshwater fish in North America while being surrounded by the historical, working and natural sites of the Fraser River.

Overall, we recommend dressing for the weather. It is best to dress in layers as it can be cold in the morning on the run out and the weather can change rapidly on the water.
If there is rain in the forecast we recommend bringing along rain proof clothing.
For sunny days sunglasses are a must and a hat and some sunscreen are recommended as well.
We will supply Simms waders and boots should you need to get in the water take a photo with your catch.
