It’s late July and the river is finally starting to drop, and fast! Only a week ago it was 60% higher than normal and now it is only 30% higher than normal for this time of year. I was out on a trip this past Saturday and fishing was good, with some nice fish in the 3 to 5 foot range, a 6 footer, and one that took the tape to just shy of 7 feet. There is still quite a bit of debris in the river but the fish seem to be responding well to the dropping flows and are on the feed.
We had a great evening and enjoyed the hot weather and good fishing. Sitting in the jet boat waiting for the next monster to bite is one of the best ways to soak up the summer sun! To book your downtown dinosaurs adventure give us a call at 778-788-8582.
