Fraser River Sturgeon Report - August 23, 2024
Sturgeon fishing on the lower Fraser River has continued to impress as we creep closer to September. The warm summer weather is still hanging in there which not only makes for an amazing day on the jet boat, but also gets the sturgeon active and feeding.
September welcomes the return of thousands of salmon to the Fraser River and its many tributaries, which becomes the focal point of a white sturgeon's diet for the fall. With early salmon already entering the river, August sturgeon fishing has been extremely productive.

If the sturgeon fishing is this good now, its got us very excited for what's to come in the next few months. The lower, tidal portion of the Fraser River where we typically fish receives very little fishing pressure which makes for some eager-to-bite sturgeon.
